President and CEO 

Chris Floyd became President & CEO of C.E. Floyd Company in 2015. He began his career as a field engineer and assistant superintendent at John Moriarty and Associates, then joined C.E. Floyd Company as a project engineer after graduating from Babson College with his MBA in 2003. Chris gained experience in every department before becoming vice president of business development, finance and admin in 2013. 


Off The Clock 

Chris can be found spending time with his family, gardening, skiing, seeking good food and sharpening his photography skills. 



Chuck founded C.E. Floyd Company in 1989. With more than 40 years of experience, Chuck is knowledgeable and experienced in all phases of construction. Before founding C.E. Floyd Company, he worked at The Weitz Company for 16 years. At Weitz, he started as a field engineer and advanced through the ranks to the position of general manager, vice president and division president. Chuck is a past president of the AGC of Massachusetts. 


Off The Clock 

Chuck enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his family, which seems to be growing exponentially these days with the addition of grandchildren. 


Vice President of Operations 

Norm joined the company in 1991. Previously he worked at The Weitz Company with Chuck Floyd. Norm has more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry. His experience includes projects ranging from $100,000 to $60 million dollars in value. Norm’s work focuses on the senior housing, educational and country club sectors. 


Off The Clock 

Norm spends his time playing tennis and golf and helping his grown children with their home improvement projects. He also enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.


President of Connecticut Operations 

Chuck joined the company as a project engineer in 1992 after graduating from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Before opening the Connecticut office in 2007, Chuck managed projects in the educational, healthcare and senior housing sectors. His experience includes projects ranging from $100,000 to $45 million dollars in value. He is a past member of the Connecticut ABC Board of Directors.


Off The Clock

Chuck enjoys skiing on lakes and mountains, Tough Mudders and spending time with his family.


Vice President of Business Development

Ray joined C.E. Floyd Company in 2003 as the vice president of estimating, preconstruction services and business development. Previously, he was president of The Redland Group construction consulting in Charlotte, N.C. He also spent 11 years at Spaulding & Slye, Boston and 13 years as president of The Caruso Companies, Westford, MA. He is a commercial development/construction veteran with more than 40 years of experience. Caruso is a past president of the Massachusetts/Rhode Island ABC and Carolinas ABC. He also served as a Navy Seabee.

Ray loves spending time with his family, traveling, and collecting wine (especially Italian reds).
