Description

The project entails the conversion of the former pharmacy into eight state-of-the-art beds and the renovation of the existing 12 beds within the heart of the hospital. Operating in such a sensitive environment requires meticulous planning and execution to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.

We implemented rigorous precautions, focusing on noise control and diligent installation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The limited space on-site necessitated a strategic approach to material management, including the careful staging of materials and even manual transportation of yards of concrete to minimize construction intrusion.

This project featured welded flooring to meet stringent health standard and prevent the trapping of microbes, such as bacteria and viruses. Each bed installation includes med gas, outlets, and medical device installations on both sides for quick and efficient access. Our dedicated team maintained exemplary communication with MidState Medical Center, setting clear expectations throughout the construction process.
