Thank you Massachusetts! C.E. Floyd Receives Workforce Training Fund Grant for Professional Development Program

We are excited to announce that the State of Massachusetts has awarded a major training grant to C.E. Floyd Company to support our Professional Development Program. Standing Strong: Beach Pavilion Weathers Hurricane Sandy

It’s beach time! Unfortunately, the Penfield Pavilion in Fairfield, Connecticut is closed for the season after suffering substantial damage to its foundation during Hurricane Sandy. As a result, 89 private events at the pavilion had to be cancelled. Sadly, the $3.3 million dollar building just opened in 2011.

5 Ways to Prevent Water Leaks in the Building Envelope

The Kalia Tower at the Hilton Hawaiian Village cost $95 million to build. Less than a year after it first opened, the hotel was forced to close the tower due to widespread mold. After spending $55 million in repairs and losing out on 14 months of revenue, the Kalia Tower reopened.
