Project Manager
Connecticut Office

Job Summary:

Based in our Middletown, Connecticut office, the Project Manager performs a key role in the project planning, budgeting and identification of resources needed for each project.

For more than 30 years, we've provided construction management services to carry out collaborative visions for educational, senior living, hospitality, healthcare/biotech and commercial markets in the New England area.

How You’ll Make a Difference:

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will:

  • Oversee and manage the entire construction delivery process, from contract award to final project billing and execution of the warranty work
  • Maintain consistent documentation and communication to all stakeholders to ensure the project progresses through each phase on time and on budget
  • Maintain positive client/designer relationships and contribute to the company’s marketing effort
  • Create master detail schedules utilizing SureTrak or Primavera P6
  • Buy out jobs, review and negotiate subcontracts
  • Attend client meetings and presentations, traveling to job sites as needed

Our ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate:

  • 3+ years’ direct project management experience in commercial construction projects.  Health care experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture or business-related field preferred
  • Ability to create master detail schedules, experience with SureTrak or Primavera P6 preferred
  • Intermediate skill level with MS Office Suite, Project, and ProLog
  • Knowledge and experience with construction cost accounting methodology
  • OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
  • Excellent leadership, management, and verbal and written communication that demonstrates a sense of urgency and do-whatever-it-takes attitude
  • Strong mathematical skills and conceptual aptitude, with an excellent ability to focus and maintain a hard work ethic amidst competing priorities
