    Description:

    Project Managers oversee and manage the entire construction delivery process from the award of the contract by the client to the final project billing and execution of the warranty work. They perform a key role in the project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed. This is a highly visible position, and you are a key link to our clients and responsible to maintain positive Client/Designer relationships as well as contribute to the company’s marketing.

    Requirements:
    • Bachelors in Construction Management, Architecture or business related field preferred
    • Minimum 8+ years direct project management experience in commercial construction projects
    • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of CPM scheduling and ability to create master detail schedules utilizing  SureTrak or Primavera P6. (Must be able to buy out jobs AND review and negotiate subcontracts and create subcontracts)
    • Intermediate skill level with MS Office Suite, Project; Prolog
    • Knowledge and understanding of construction cost accounting methodology
    • Demonstrated leadership skills
    • OSHA 30 (desired)
    • OSHA 10 (required)
    • Attend client meetings and presentations
    • Travel to job sites required

    Opportunities are available now. Coops work on a variety of assignments. On the estimating side you’re responsible for sending out transmittals and bid documents as well as bid fax invitations, making sub-contractor and vendor phone calls, doing take-off for small jobs and running errands to printers for copies of plans, etc. On the operations side, you’ll review shop-drawings, prepare pricing solicitations for change-orders and awarded contracts and RFI’s from sub-contractors.
